PM Modi will give Delhi to Delhi today, journey will be easy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Urban Extension Marg-2 (UER-2) in Rohini today. As a result, this road will remain closed for vehicles, which can affect traffic on Lord Mahavir Road, Bawana Road, Kanjhawala Road, Kanjhawala Link Road and Badshah Dahiya Marg. The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory requesting the residents to avoid these routes and consider using alternative routes. Nearby residents are advised to use options such as KN Katju Marg and Rohini jail route.

According to the advice of the traffic police, the movement of commercial vehicles on the roads from Ring Road to Rohini from morning to 2 pm will be banned.

Commercial vehicles will not be allowed to go beyond the following places: Outer Ring Road at Madhuban Chowk, KN Katju Marg Cross, Outer Ring Road at Jail Road Crossing, Deepali Chowk, Jaipur Golden Hospital Crossing, Mahadev Chowk, Pansali Chowk, Kali Chowk, Wazirpur Depot, Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, UER-2, Bawana Road, Barwana Road, Barwana Chowk, Rohini 35-36 Charges Chowk

Passengers going from Mukarba Chowk or Madhuban Chowk towards Nangloi are advised to avoid UER-2, Madhuban Chowk, Bhagwan Mahavir Marg and other connectivity routes. Instead, they should use Piragadhi and turn right on Rohtak Road to reach their destination. Only those who attend the program will be allowed to go beyond Kali Chowk on Lord Mahavir Marg.

Advice for the public

• Plan your journey in advance and choose an alternative route to avoid any inconvenience.
• On August 17, 2025, it would be better to use public transport, especially metro to visit Rohini.
• Cooperate with traffic police and follow their instructions.
• Public cooperation is expected for the smooth operation of the program.
• All drivers and passengers are requested to be aware of the traffic situation through the official means of Delhi Traffic Police.
